Our Mission

This store exists to bring joy to those of you who love the vintage toys of the 70s, 80s and 90s. We archived all these historic wonders to make them available to you today. We LOVE helping you add these toys and treasures to your collections.

Where Do These Toys Come From?

I started working in the Toy Industry in 1985 when I got an $8 an hour temp job in Mattel's Samples Department. I set up toys for marketing demos, ran boxes from one building to another, drove trucks to pre-toy fair and regularly swept the basement.

While I was in Samples I started collecting toys and archiving them. I continued as I became Mattel's freelance Creative Director and Writer for scripts, presentations, song lyrics, speeches and award shows.

I added many cartons of new unopened Street Sharks toys to my collection after creating the characters and storyline for Street Wise Design and Mattel.

I really expanded my collection when I began writing package copy for Playmates Toys, and doing creative work for Galoob, Tyco, Tangle Toys and Wild Planet as well as Universal Pictures and 20th Century Fox.
