Barbie is the most popular fashion doll in the history of the world and has been since its introduction in 1959. I first started working with Barbie in 1985 in Mattel's Samples Department. In 1988 I began writing toy fair scripts, videos, marketing skits, custom songs and other creative for Barbie at Mattel. This is a very rare and collectible 1994 Mattel Barbie doll, celebrating the 35th anniversary of the iconic toy. It was created for attendees at the 35th Anniversary Barbie Festival in Orlando Florida. This festival-themed doll is a gorgeous "Titian" redhead with brilliant blue eyes. This is a beautiful reproduction of the original 1959 Swimsuit doll fearing the original black white swimsuit, black high heel shoes, white framed sunglasses and FESTIVAL SASH, gold hoop earrings and clear stand. Box has Festival Pink Sticker on back. 

As a special bonus with this legendary collectible is the matching Hallmark Collector's Series Ornament in the same bathing suit outfit in its original box. It was a holiday tradition in our house for many years.

This toy is part of my personal collection and has been archived by me, Joe Galliani, the creator of the Street Sharks, and President of Mr. Joe's Really Big Productions for over two decades in my home's attic.
