Barbie is the most popular fashion doll in the history of the world and has been since its introduction in 1959. I first started working with Barbie in 1985 in Mattel's Samples Department. In 1988 I began writing toy fair scripts, videos, marketing skits, custom songs and other creative for Barbie at Mattel. My first email address was mrbarbie@aol.com and you can still reach me there.

Benefit Ball Barbie This is an Exclusive Limited Edition Benefit Ball Barbie doll that was designed by Carol Spencer. She is the first doll from the Classique Collection. Issued in 1992, her stock number is 1521. Barbie is ready to dance the night away in her stunning metallic evening ensemble. Her strapless, floor-length gown is a deep metallic teal color embossed with a subtle swirl print. The fitted gown is gathered slightly to her right hip where a cascade of teal and gold lamé fabrics cascade to the floor. A shimmering wrap ruffled metallic teal and gold lamé drapes around her shoulders. Long gold arm pieces complete her outfit. Her strawberry blonde hair is worn with bangs, pulled back from her face and curled. Simple golden drop earrings and a ring complement an ornate golden pendant that is centered with a blue ‘jewel’ and worn on a simple ‘chain’. Long rooted lashes frame her bright blue eyes to complete her ballroom look. This doll also comes with a labeled doll stand, shoes and a Classique booklet. She is in mint condition and has never been removed from the box.

This toy is part of my personal collection and has been archived by me, Joe Galliani, the creator of the Street Sharks, and President of Mr. Joe's Really Big Productions for over two decades in my home's attic.

The package and contents are in visually excellent condition. Photos are of this specific toy for sale. Please review carefully and thoroughly as all sales are final and no refunds will be issued.d
