Barbie is the most popular fashion doll in the history of the world and has been since its introduction in 1959. I first started working with Barbie in 1985 in Mattel's Samples Department. In 1988 I began writing toy fair scripts, videos, marketing skits, custom songs and other creative for Barbie at Mattel. Skipper is Barbie's younger sister. This is the older style Skipper doll that is younger (pre-teen Skipper). Pizza Party Skipper has long straight blonde hair with poofy bangs. She has blue eyes and pinkish-red lips. She is wearing a cute white cropped tee shirt top with black polka dots and lace trim on the sleeves, a red denim mini skirt, polka dot socks, and sneakers. Pizza Party Skipper comes with all the accessories needed for a complete pizza party. These include: two yellow plates two slices of pizza two red napkins pizza cutter (red & silver) spatula (red) Pizza Hut pizza box (to go box) large pizza pie on silver pizza tray two sets of yellow eating utensils two yellow cups.

In 1996 Mattel dedicated three look alike Barbies to the chicest teen trio in Beverly Hills“. The promo picture on the back of the packaging suggests that Cher was originally supposed to get the Teen Skipper Facemold. But all three were produced with their own facemolds, which have similarity to the actresses. In addition to their stylish outfit with hat or headband, the dolls are equipped with a phone and an animal backpack. Cher has a plush pen in her right hand and various fashion books to keep up to date.
